    Grafpak,

Bike looks awsome, I like what you've done with the rear fender. I bet it goes great too with the engine work. Nice job.

P.S - I changed your pics so they show in the post, much easier to see.

    Cheers,
    KC

I was thinking a bobtail type fender would finish it off perfectly (and a black bag) but everyone has different tastes :)

    Hey dc,

The build looks really good, I like all you have done to it.

    Some questions:

You must be a tall bloke, does the mustang seat sit you further from the standard front peg position or closer to it?

Where did you get the mustang from and how much? Did you get an 12.5" or 14" wide seat?

I was looking at getting 3" forward control extensions for myself (I'm 6'2), where did you get yours from? I see you went with 4.75".

    Well done with the conversion.

hi rooster, i got the seat off this forum its the smaller 12.5",but i was about to buy one from mustang direct or wisconsin harley davidson.and i don't think it moved me much at all but is much more comfy on longer rides and stops me sliding back on quick take offs . it does raise you a little over the custom hd seat...the fwds on mine are
2" dog leg pegs from zodiac + 2.75" ext mounts by me and both rods ext to match and i added adjusters to the rods so i can adjust up or down for the pedals(makes it much easier changing gears!)

    cheers walka..

Hey... It's looking good... the tank lift really flows well with your mustang seat, especially through to the fender; nice lines :) I think the mustangs often look like the sit a little too high, but yours looks right at home with the changes you've made.

    Grafpak,

      Great looking bike! Top work!

I am keen to know do the licks bag mounting straps rub any of the paint off the bike frame or swing arm?
Can you add any photos that show how the bag attaches to the bike?

    Cheers

thanks sportytrace ,i agree i didn't want the mustang but its so comfy!!!

hi sprocket, tha bag does rub slightly on the battery cover i just put some stick on velcro on the bottom of the battery cover(probably should have stuck it to the back of the bag!)and all seems good now..

Great bike! Can you get away with that side-mounted number plate in Victoria? No hope in NSW.
