Premium u/leaded ?

    in old days used to use metho to freshin up ole fuel ,get rid of moisture as well in tank

    i have heard from some ppl in the fuel refining industry ?? , that standard 91RON fuel is crap quality . its got "bottom" of the fuel grade blended into it & is cheaply made without regard to quality of consistancy in fuel types blended into it ; i was told if you care for your bike or car always buy @ least 95 RON premium or better . you get what you pay for , i dont want to risk running crap standard 91RON fuel in my Harley " i paid to much $$ for my HD" to risk it only to save 10 to 14 cents more per litre , only to save $2.50  per fill up .

    Don't know how it all equates to cars , but last week picked up a brand new ute, there was a bit off fuel in it , done 150-160 klm ,it ran like a new car should run , I filled it up with premium  and it started idling rough , running rough , filled it up again this morning put in 95 and its back to running like a new car should . Am definetly gonna give my bike a go on 95  nstead of premium next fill.

    if youre in the states with daylight savin your fuel s gonna be shit anyway

    Wow....shit...now I'm totally confused...guess I'll keep stopping at the cheapest and hope for the best...(use 95 when I can get it)... riding back from Brizzy, was happy to get anything when the yellow light was on for a while......j

    There is a difference in the quality of fuel. We run a GTR RB26 in a competition environment and wont use anything less than BP Ultimate. All other pump fuels we try cause significant ping at high boost pressures and basically wreck the motor. However Im talking modern technology engineering here and we are pushing the limits of performance. As for me Hog, I recon if I pissed in the tank after a big night out she would still get me home, but I choose to use Ultimate. The other deciding factor is the way good fuel treats your internals (I dont mean you have to drink the stuff). Our GTR engine pulls down nice and clean after a season running BP. Before that she was always a dirty f...er to clean, so something is working right. Im gunna treat me scooter with some respect and only run the good stuff in her when its available.
