Have a ferret around the forum with no luck

Q is it straight forward to fit a tacho on a2007 softtail and if so where do I get a tacho from & how are they fitted up??

How are you billie,if your bike is injected you should be able to buy a genuine tacho speedo combination that will simply replace your old unit,thats what Ive got for my 09 dyna. If you want to fit an aftermarket tacho you will have to run a tacho signal wire from your ecu ,I run a shift light aswell and had to run a new wire from pin 3 in my ecu as I needed a tacho signal wire to run it ,dont know if softtails run the same wiring but imagine they would .

I mounted a tach on my Dyna and did the same a Rowdy.

But my tach mounts to the stem nut.
