Elm I have spoke wheels and after trying all different brushes from the supermarket or car accessory shops, I decided to give the Harley wheel and spoke cleaning brush a go. It's conical in shape, not cheap but it does do a great job of getting in all the little nooks and crannies. I mixed some CT-18 truck wash in a bucket and with the bike on the lift gave the spokes and wheels a good going over. It works a treat. I could see it removing the bits of grime that I had missed from the last clean. Other than that just rinse them off and use a chamois and paper towelling.

Yeah you are right aussiesport, well the story has been raised before. Don't know if it's true, but I think the idea is to use it sparingly and anyway I rinse the wheels straight away with rain water. I do use another product called Glym to wash the bike, supposed to be a better product........a whole new other thread could be raised.
