I have on order a Fat Bob, candy red sunglow. Due to a change in financial circumstances I can no longer go through with the purchase. Obviously this is very disappointing for me. Making it worse is that the bike shop will not return my deposit. However, they have agreed to transfer the deposit to another purchaser if I can find someone to take over the purchase. The way it would work is that the new purchaser would pay me my deposit and the bike shop would transfer the deposit to the new purchaser. Benefit for me is that I get my deposit back. Benefit for the new purchaser is that they have a new fat bob on confirmed order that is due to arrive in April; these bikes are pretty rare and delivery dates can extend to 12 months.

Over here in WA there is a waiting list of at least 18 months to 2 years for FAT BOB's, I would have thought some one would have snapped it up by now.
I am getting mine from Mackay in Apr.

I wish you had posted this up two weeks ago. I wanted one bad, and they quoted me 12 months wait. So I ended up with a Sunglow Fatty instead.
