The name's Phill, my current compressor is a black 07 RK Custom which I got in january. I won't bother posting a picture because...well fuck, it's just a stock bike.
I had an 01 FXST before this that turned out to be a pretty nice street custom with billet forks, flame job, jockey shifter and suicide clutch.
Oh, and spokey dokeys.....no, really.
I got rid of that one because i wanted to do more touring miles and I didn't want to risk stone chips or or other shit happening to it on the road.
The new Road King is stock except for SE mufflers and I got rid of those fucking shithouse beach bars for a set of black westerns. I don't plan to change much else except an air filter and EFI upgrade at some stage. I mainly want this bike for cruising and a bit of touring.
The trannie sounds like someone tipped a bag of nuts and bolts into it in the upper gears but Frasers said "oh no, they all do that..... Nothing to see here, move along please" Fucken excellent!!
Still, I got warranty and I reported it, so if it shits itself later, I will hopefully get some help from HD, preferably a rebuilt box minus nuts and bolts....well, the loose ones anyway.
Other than the noisy trannie, I love my new RK and I'll look forward to checking out what's going on around here.
I also have a Turbo GSXR streetfighter for "discreet fun times" which I take out when I need some sphincter excercises.
Works a treat.

Didn't take you long... took me longer to get the url to you.... the goatee is getting longer so kids in Vietnam have upped the anti in relation to nicknames , so have a different nic here. Tony

welcome,just a note on ya noisy tranny
ive got a 07 electraglide thats the same bike now has 14000 kms on it and i have just recentlly had 2 "technicians" take it for a ride
one was a guy in townsville the other in moree they both reckon it was too noisy
but surprise ........surprise just had a call from service manager in moree, [where my bike is gettin pulled apart] to say they can find nothin wrong
he tells me that they are puttin a couple of new bearings in fifth gear , but they could see nothin wrong
the shop have emailed to me the harley blurb about the great new 6 speed and that sounding like a crook mixmaster is normal.......
all i can do is ride the shit out of the thing while its under warranty then i reckon ill trade it................ which makes me wonder how we would ever sell one of these privately

G'day Phil and welcome to another bagger man.I too have a black Road king,except mine is a classic.They require some modification from stock to make them fit,that is for sure,but when you get them to fit they are a real pleasure to ride and ride and ride !!!!

I wouldn't trade it,just fit a Jims 6 speed and be done with it,if that is the only problem,the rest of the bike is well made.
