Trying to Understand TTS IAC

I'm chasing a bit of a miss/hesitation during the initial or warm-up phase of riding.

While I've tried to eliminate mechanical causes, I wonder if the IAC table might be an issue.  Using TA-205-002-C2, I see the IAC steps beginning with 44 @ -16 and decrease as the temps increase.  Looking at the last several v-tunes, I noticed the following:

temp in c          steps (as indicated by DataMaster)

    26                        55

    32                        51

    40                        50

    45                        48

    50                        48

    55                        47

    60                        46

    65                        44

My engine start-up temp is about 26 degress C (80F) with DataMaster logging IAC Position at about 55.  But the MAP table seems to suggest a figure of about 24 would be needed.  As the engine builds temperature, the logged IAC Position decreases but not nearly at the rate of the published table (see my figures above).

Could this be the source of the hesitation/miss I'm experiencing during the first few minutes of riding?

    Thanks!!!

I'll try to figure out how to do that...

The IAC will not cause a miss. All it does is allow the idle speed to be raised. You need to remember there are several table in play that effect the IAC. Take a look in the "Help" file for a better explanation on what the various table do.
