My 1st oil change

I have just finished doing my first oil change on my 2001 FXD. This is my first Harley (I've bought it 5 months ago) and it's been an experience and being a newbie I have some questions.

My dealer told me to use the same oil in the primary case and transmission and that's what he supplied. I know that this is not in the manual so - is he right or will I have a problem?

One of the Derby cover bolts was difficult to remove because the torx head of the bolt is starting to strip. I will be replacing the bolt and I'd like some opinions before I do.

To begin - can I purchase just 1 bolt or do I need to buy an entire set?

If I get another set I am considering getting hex bolts but, not being flush, they may look out of place.

Any input or opinions will be appreciated.

He sold me Bel-Ray out of the drum - I had to supply my own containers.

    Thanx all for your input.

I changed the torx bolt for stainless allen key bolts - spent big - $3.50; and they look good.

I have been following Ozroder's oil posts and ooooooh! my head really hurts. Another dealer raised other concerns with the way I purchased the oil i.e. there is no guarantee on the age of the oil and there is a risk of contamination. This is not to imply the dealer is purposefully supplying bad oil but it is a risk and I will avoid it next oil change.
