My Mate and I went for a ride to Braidwood Hotel yesterday for a couple, a Roadking pulled in next to our bikes, and this cool elderly gent walked in, got a beer and came straight over, we chewed the fat for a while, after a couple of beers he says "how old do you think I am" ( Cheeez) so I said 65 - he was 74 years young, I enjoyed talking to him, a straight shooter. anybody know someone older still scooting about??????

74 still riding...thats what I call having a passion.

As for us young bucks we have many years of riding to enjoy and many adventures to share.

i did a harley tour and one of the other riders said he was 78

My old man is 78 and when I got my new Harley I took it down to give him alook...he walks around it and says well

give me your helmet and keys...I thought he was joking ...on he gets with my open face helmet and dark Raybands

and off he goes....he was gone for nearly 1/2 hour we were starting to worry and got his car out of the shed to go

and look for him...he was stoked as he hadn't ridden a Harley for over 40 years...He looked real good on it too

and I have to say I was a little bit proud of him too.......

Yer these old fellas have a lot of knowledge if we can muster up the time to listen to them, so we have a new leader 78 years young.

I don't know if I'll still be riding a Harley when I'm 80 because I probably won't have the strength to push it out of the shed, so you might see me back on an old Bonny.

there is a guy in his 80's who races in historics ..... yes races .....

and from what i have been told give's blokes half his age a dust up on the track

know an old fella who is only 64 ish but he still races flat track and motorcross as well as running a shop and he only has one freaking eye ,,on ya nevvy keep on crackin them huskies bud !

I was out riding with a Swiss friend on Sunday, Pierre is 79 but rides a 97/98 650 V Star. in 2002 he rode around Aus in three 1/2 months, he’s done two trips up to Cairns and a few down to Tassie. he’s a funny old bastard and loves a chat. I hope I’m still riding at that age. I guess I wont know for another 33 years.

One of my mates has an uncle in Norseman in his late 70s who gets around on a Triumph Rocket.

Old Mr Mutt from the Ulysses was about 80 when i last saw him 10 plus years ago. He used to ride all over Australia and had a couple of Girlfriends in different states that he used to go to see. He also made it into the headlines when he visited that pub in the north somewhere as well. But check out the Ulysses and you will find that a lot off them are over 70

yeh bobtail doin real well for nearly 80 ,beeza s up there in 70s both look the goods thanks to botocks
