My Ultra is idling high, heres what I did,

Bike was idling rough so I decided to adjust High (cold) idle and Low (warm) idle, got the manual out and follow the instructions,  disconnected Speed Control Actuator, set cold idle to around 1400rpm, turned igntion off, reconnected Speed Control Actuator, started bike and set warm idle to 950-1050 rpm.

All was spot on, when cold idle was 1400 rpm and on warm up idle was 950-1050, went for a ride and idle was high when pulling up at intersection, idle was arount 1400-1500.

Is there a way to fix the problem with out the aid of a digitech.

    Thumbs up Scotty..all good now.

    What I did,

    1. Set Cold Idle at around 1350 to 1400rpm according to Tacho

    2. Set warm Idle to 900rmp

    3. Remove 5 amp fuse (ECM fuse) under right side cover. (Remove right pannier first then right side cover)

    4. Polished, cleaned and checked over bike...just to keep me occupied in the mean time giving ecm enough time to reset.

    5. Reconnected 5 amp fuse

    6. Fired her up and watch tacho until warm..dropped to 850 to 900 when it warmed up

    7. Went for a test ride

All good and idles at 850 to 900, also decel poping is gone.

    Thanks for your help.
