Gday steve i went with 103 kit sreaming eagle 211 cams 0.30 gasket usual pipes air cleaner and thundermax on 07 softail standard

goes hard only problem i have is hot starts could be the amount of fuel fill from my thundermax tuner i am sure some one will correct me if iam wrong

i wouldnt go to big on the cubes with out doing crank modifacations and bearings my camshaft bearings fell apart when they were removed cheap crap gearing replaced

them with torringtons for piece of mind good luck wit your choices.

to use the 204's with the 107 kit would give very high cranking pressure (over 205 psi)
the fuel you buy at the local servo, including the 98 octane, is unlikely to be adequate
an ecm tuner is to enable you to correctly tune a good engine combination
it is not some magic unit intended to turn poorly blended parts into awesome power makers
seeing as you intend to keep your heads stock, which barely flow enough for a 96, you should think
about your intended capacity and compression ratio/cam combo carefully
parts that complement each other well, work better than having "one big spec" in the mix
