Hi Guys, Anyone know if a set of wheels from a 08' Dyna will fit a 97' Dyna Superglide? Cheers

it could be done, with a fair bit of effort and cost, but they are certainly not "interchangeable"
the 97 front end would have to be "mid glided" at the least
you would also need rear end mods to accomodate

Not an expert on Dyna wheels but I just had a set of genuine harley mags that fit '00-'08 Touring models put on my 98 model tourer.

The actual wheel sizes were the same so no worries with clearances however needed bearings - 98 has a 3/4 inch axel as opposed to the 00 - 08 having a 1 inch axel and a couple of spacers made up. Also need the speedo drive machined as it was too big - mine is still the old cable driven. Also need a new rear disc and would of needed the front machined out to fit, but decided to upgrade to HD floating rotors. Overall labour etc cost a bit over $1000 - not cheap but can be done. With the cost of the labour, mags and rotors I got out of it for about $3300. Now given Harley doesn't make any chrome mags for 98 models I was looking at having to purchase PMs or something like that - well over $3500 a set (and I would of still need the 3 rotors - total $660) plus the labour for changing the tyres etc etc.

I am in Sydney so if you are interested PM me and I can send u the name of the workshop that did it,

Thanks for the replies, the reason i was asking was there was a set of wheels inc. tyres off a 08 dyna on ebay they ended up selling for $366, i could do with a new disc and new spokes so i thought it would be a good way todo it on the cheap, but seems they wouldn't fit i let them go. Bugger!
