    Make sure you do the Oxley Highway between Walcha and Port Macquarie, probably the best bike road in OZ. And don't forget the Putty road and Bells Line of road. South of Port Macquarie at Nabiac you should also stop and have a look at a great bike museum.

    No worries, all the roads that cross from the New England highway to the coast are good bike roads but the Oxley is the best of em and the GWYDIR from Glenn Innes to Grafton is next best. Screw the coast road, thats for tin tops.

    might catch ya on the road trev iam leaving on the 14th heading towards sydney then canberra ,cowra, wagga , orange and back to uralla for the wild turkey run the weekend after. have a good one.

    hey big fella.....I'll get onto my mate down VIC and see if he's working this year at the GRAND PRICKS....he might be able to find you some room with some penquins down there...

    Just spoke to my mate Trev...he'll be away in Bali (or some such place) with 4 air hotesses...BUT...he said he'll send me pix...

    If you only get a chance to do one, do the Oxley. On the other hand, the worst day on a bike is more fun than the best day at work.

    Oxley range is beautiful....haven't been through it for some 30 odd years but I remember the scenery back then...mountains and streams...and SNOW...but I doubt there'd be any this time of year.

    yeah Trev....I reckon you'll have more to report before this trip is done and dusted........keep away from pool tables and transvestite barmaids mate.

    Yeah WELL DONE Trev, I think we'll all be trying our hardest to get down there next year.  Really enjoyed the daily reports and photos too.
