    G'day everyone,

this is my first post so go easy on me.....

I have been a wanna be Harley rider for way too long now, but that's all changes in 5 weeks time when I take delivery of my 105th anniversary Fatboy!!! No I'm not very excited at all.....

In transit from the states I have the following bits: V & H big radius black pipes, a thundermax ECM controller & a S/E stage 1 air cleaner.

My Question is: should I be running the bike in first or am I right to bolts the bits & pieces on from day dot?

Anyone out there got any advice/opinions on this?

    Thanks

    Rex

    G'Day Rex

Should be no probs. People do it all the time. I presume you will get the dealer to wack em on. This should keep your warranty in tact.

Very keen to see the pics when the black V&H's are on.

I know how you feel. I had to wait over 10 weeks for mine to arrive

Good choice of bike. You'll luv it. I may be biased

    Enjoy the ride

    Thanks Magilla,

I was going to put the gear on myself but the dealer will be doing it now.

I think the pipes will look totally hot & can't wait to see them myself!

I don't think you are biased at all, you just have extremely good taste.....

g'day from WA Rex... some of the dealers recommend you wait until the 1600 service before changes. Cannot comment on this myself but I would wait. Opportunity to bed everything in and check for nigling problems.

    Thanks Guys,

It does make sense to wait a bit, just in case, so that's what I'll do.

Not sure what number bike I've got yet.

Head up to Richardsons next week where all will be revealed....
