    MEDIA ALERT – LOCAL BUSINESS TO OPEN THIS SATURDAY
    Sydney’s newest Motorcycle Service Centre – The Bikesmith – will open its doors in Blacktown this Saturday August 15.
     
    A specialist service facility for Sydney’s motorcycling community, focusing on service rather than sales, the Bikesmith will bring 60 years of combined experience in living and working with bikes courtesy of the proprietors Simon Thomas and John Manwarring.
     
    The Bikesmith will be located off the M2 at 3/62-64 Sunnyhold Road, with the official opening taking place there on Saturday August 15 between 10am and 2pm with distinguished guests including Kevin Magee, Craig Dack, Jamie Stauffer, Shawn Giles, Michael Dowson and Amy Omara - Australia’s fastest woman road racer.

    Ø      The Bikesmith Owners – Simon Thomas and John Manwarring
    Ø      Kevin Magee - multiple winner Australian Superbike championships, (80's) Castrol 6 hour production races, Suzuka 8 hour races, World Superbike races and 500 GP (now MotoGP) and commentator on Fox sports Moto GP and World Superbike programmes a legend of Australian road racing.
    Ø      Craig Dack - Two time winner of Australian Mr Motocross championship, successful world Motocross competitor and Team manager of CDR (Craig Dack Racing) Yamaha motocross team, arguably the most recognised and professional off road racer in Australia.
    Ø      Jamie Stauffer – two time Australian Superbike champion, two time Australian Supersport champion, multiple dirt track championships, current number 1 rider in Yamaha Superbike team
    Ø      Shawn Giles - three time Australian superbike champion, multiple Suzuka 8 hour race competitor and class winner, former member of the Peter Jackson Superbike team, multiple dirt track championships, current number 1 rider in Suzuki superbike team.
