how loud are the vance hines big radius 2 into 2 pipes

   am shopping for a mate of mine for his 09 softail standard and he originally wanted the big shots staggered and liked the sound of em

   would the above pipes sound similar?

   bit hard to check out these pipes on someone elses bike when ya liven way out here in the scrub

On a loudness scale I would rate the V&H Big Radius 2+2 about a 7 out of 10, see here: 

Stock pipes = 1
V&H Big Radius = 7
Open pipes = 10

I personally don't like pipes that are too loud and I find the big radius just right, loud enough but not obnoxious to your neighbors etc.

 Do  a search on YouTube plenty of videos on there of the 2 into 2 and 2 into one for comparison.

At a guess 125 or so

if you are a rooshooter, I'll have a guess and say they are too loud, mate, you have to sneek up on them or they will hop off

Got em on my Night Train. Starting to wish i got something diff like some Martin Bros Shockwaves. Just cause there so damn common now.

Love the note they put out, there not to loud, but loud enough to let any cars around u know your there. Mates got straight through Drag Pipes and you can't even hear my bike when parked next to his at the lights.

2 into 2 sound the best.

Depends on what u are chasing! Looks ,sound ,Preformance? i Like both  but ended up with the 2/1 v/ hanes big radius I like the look can also be quiet enough if idleing around town ( if the C#$ts are following u)

Just put on the BBS on last week with the quiet baffles and they sound great. Nice rumble at idle but loud when i open up the throttle...all good.

I just put V&H quiet baffles on my short shots. I'm pretty happy with the result.
