hi guys, I have a shovel. and yes I know that this bike allways gives troubles, its ok . I am a mechanic.  my problem is I am about to pull the motor down, and was wanting a phone number, or address for me to buy a ring compressor for a harley. thanks guys and girls.

Hi Mate, welcome.

Just take your piston to Repco and ask them for a stainless steel clamp with the same diameter. Last time I bought one in Gosford it was under 10 dollars, only needs to be long enough to cover the rings. I still have it and used on many a shovel over the years.

They used to have a good one with a 7/16 nut on the end. Also seen them in truck shops for exhaust clamping end caps, bling etc.
