Well, decided i'd pull the headlight off last night and paint it to match the oil tank/air cleaner cover etc. Well, what a farken nightmare pulling the headlight to peices to get it off. Prob shoulda just removed the fuel tank and pulled the whole light off.
Anyway, Stage 1. Mockup to test if the paint matches, pull headlight off, sand and prime.
Well, got home from Nightshift this morning and instead of having a sleep like i shoulda, got to putting the light back together. After 1/2 hr of reinstalling, then realizing i hadn't put the inner trim ring on and pulling it apart again, finally got it back together. Result came up pretty good. Finish on the light was perfect imo. Did the rear fender bolts to.
