I beg to differ with the Mobil grease BACAMICK.

Not sure of the type but if its blue in colour, steer well away from it.

I live up north in the heat and this blue grease from Mobil turns to oil after a few months

I have the puddle stain on my store room floor from my grease gun to prove it. (and my store room is airconditioned!!)

Didn't go too well in my boat trailer wheel bearings either

Not sure you will have it in AUS but look for Maxima Race Grease.  It's a great high temp long lasting grease.  I use it on my HD and my moto-x bikes

totaly agree with ya RT , probly explained it a little wrong , uve done well with that idea

his is a 05 delux softy so im saying to pump it in

all i do on mine  S/BOB is put it up on the jack , undo the trees,/head bolt under chrome round cover, its screwed on , and they will drop , greese the bottom and then lift the top trees up, its a bit of mucking around to get the top bearing up but not imposible, then fill her up

the sporty is a prick , but basicly the same besides the brake line is to tight  its a great job for ya all to do wen ur board or it raining

Any quality grease is better than the piss poor amount that Harley put in at the factory. I think the idiot that packs bearings at the factory is of the opinion that waving the bearing over the tin of grease is enough.
