From a bloke who knew what EFI stood for and that is about it, I found that by about the fourth run I was able to hit cells well in most places that needed it.

An experienced tuner can get all the info they need in about 3 rides, but for me with no previous experience, it takes a bit longer.

Its a skill to be learned just like any good dyno operator has. Still it is well worth taking the time and getting your VE tables mapped properly even if it takes five or six rides.

Well I am off to up the timing and see if I can hear some ping, so I might send you an email later Scotty. After I hear it I am not sure how to relate it back to the map, but I will check when I get back from the ride to see what you blokes have posted up.
