hey guys, 2003 anniversary VRSCA for me.

I have only just bought it and it only takes 4 litres when I fill it up. Can that be right??? I have fuelled up 3 or 4 times and same each time. I will have to strap a jerry can to my back if i want to go anywhere outside metro area.

    shogun,

I know the manual says 14 litres but fark me, the bastard only takes 4! What does it cost to have the conversion to 20 done?

    Cheers Josh

    Shogun, thanks heaps mate.

Might have a faulty fuel level indicator? would check if there is fuel in it on the next empty signal.

Just seems really odd to have 4 litres from empty to full, something is not right.

The fuel gauges on the Vord have been unreliable to say the least. Mine drops from 3/4's to 1/4in a matter of seconds. I always use the trip meter.  215 klms and time to start looking for a garage (200 if I am out in the country).  and I have an 07 vrscd with the big tank !!

Thankfully I mainly ride in Sydney so plenty of servo's about. Ill ignore the warning light next time and push out another 100 k's to see how it goes. Ill take my mobile just on case :)
