Trying to get a workshop manual for a '08 250 honda MX bike. Redline Honda in Mackay want $465:00 for one!! FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIVE DOLLARS. My boy can't afford that on apprentice wages and I'm sure as shit not gunna buy it for him. Even if I'd won Lotto!! Rip off pricks. I'm holding back from a truckload of expletives to. Anybody in the know as to why such an astronomical price on a workshop manual. That's about 500% more than a genuine new Harley manual. Maybe so you'd have to take your bike to a shop and not learn how to do services/repairs yourself? Fucknose. Please explain.
FFS!!! that sounds like a rip off. I would jump on the phone or net and ask around for prices. I am sure someone here will be able to help. I recon that it should be $46.50.
I have heard of Honda genuine stuff being expensive for their motor vehicles:
$50 for Genuine wiper blade refils;
$30 for Genuine Honda air in yer tyres.
But $465 for a book and 3/4 of it is in a foreign language.
Hope you find an alternative.
Have ya tried EBAY?
I just got myself a dvd sent from ISRAEL (of all places) for my 04/05 sporty custom 1200.
Prior to the sporty I had a Vulcan classic (shameless copy of a heritage softail from the folk who brought you Pearl Harbour) and got a dvd manual off Ebay for that as well. They cost around $10 plus a bit of postage...give it a shot...what's the worst that can happen? Ya find some bling for you ride....
