Hi people. Has anyone put a Fatboy seat onto a Softail Standard? I want a seat that is flatter (Fatboy) that doesn't put pressure on my tailbone . I know an 07 Fatboy will fit an 07 Standard. The input I want is more to do with comfort and looks. The seat on my FLH Shovel is flat and is more comfortable. I am sick of trial and error (3 different handlebars, 4 different fuel controllers, 3 different exhausts ) to get what I wanted. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It looks fine. I saw one on an old bloke's bike down at the Grunt Factory ,Yatala. He claimed it was good for distance riding.

I bought a Brawler solo seat when I got my '08 Standard, its crap on a trip, just a "town" seat, then I got a "Sundowner Deep Bucket" and its great, nearly the same size as a "Fatboy", maybe you could have a look at that..

I just put a 2002 Fatboy seat on my 95 FXSTC...It seems to fit ok but when you go to take it off there is something on the underside of the seat that gets stuck on something and it's a bit of an effort to remove....Looks good and is comfortable but I have'nt been too far on it...
