Sporty leaking oil at 5,000 km....

    Enforcer,

    The trans oil drain plug is at the bottom right of the primary cover (right next to where I can see the rego label, it has a rubber seal on it, I'd start by checking that.

    FINALY a real HD that leaks oil , ur lucky mate

     

    should be a oring on the end of that cable going into ur primery , try give it a real same nip up , not to much but as them suckers can snap real easy, or the cable could  have a fine crack in it

    BUCKET is correct there , your wasting ur time checking the eng oil

    Julies brand new 883C leaked oil from the crank position sensor at the front of the cases. This caused oil to leak along the bottom of the motor when ridden and we thought there was a oil leak at the back of the motor. Took it back to the stealers and the said the crank position sensor oil leak is a fairly common problem You would of thought they could of had that sorted by now/
