Fark me here i was just cruising down the Hume just a little while ago and right in front of me dude on a nice maroon bike head on into a truck.........He was fucked..Took ages for the ambo to arrive so i stuck around till i wasnt needed anymore.........

But it made me think , i really didnt know what to do to help without causing anymore injury................My missus is an ex ambo and here i am without a clue.........

Im goin to do a first aid course cause its been 20 yrs since i last did one..................I think a first aid course is something we dont think about all that much until we need to use those skills............

Just somethin to keep in mind if not for yaself and lovedones for the poor bloke who comes unstuck in front of ya.............

damn Hoody that sucks big time...mate a first aid course is always good thing to have...let my go about 5 years now...you did what you could do and thats all mate...

I feel for you Hoody but it sounds like nothing could be done anyway...I have been a believer for a long time that First Aid is something that should be taught at school before kids go out into the workforce and also start driving. I believe it should have to be done before applying for a drivers license

Making my living on the road I too have seen my fair share of bad things. It's never a good sight huh....
The good samaritan law sounds like a good one, Does it really exist??? I have heard of people getting sued for doing the wrong thing.
A story I heard the other day, a good samaritan stopped and helped someone with hep C I think it was, he got infected and real sick, had time off work etc
and couldn't get any compo from anywhere.........
I always carry medical gloves in my first aid kit............

Hey Hoody take Rodders advice & give your misses a hug ,then talk to her, had a situation once found talking to someone (wife & mates) helped me realise i did all i could, just took time. you have my thoughts 

when i saw rider down at casula ..... i was just glad it wernt you mate .... i think older riders like my dad and his mates have more chance of getting hurt than younger " more traIned riders

gidday hooda ,bad thing to see happening !!!!!! saw a yute with two guys hit a telegraph pole once , was right behind them  . very messy  , couldn't do anything till the ambo's arrived ,  took some time to get over that one . don't blame you for not wanting to ride in a big hurry . make's you look at life with a different perspective .
