With out knowing for sure I would have thought they ran the motor for some period of time........

I can tell you when the Evo's forst came out we took delivery of a brand new one in the shop (Picked it up from Frasers) even before PD check new heads and cam installation. I can tell you now, that sucker had not been fired up. Most likely different now or could have been one that missed the proceedure as it was many many moons ago..

I was under the impression that any vehicle car, bike, etc from OS was not allowed any combustable

liquids (oil) in it....cant see then putting oil in to fire them up then draining it....but I did buy a new

5 hp Honda stationary engine and it had signs everywhere saying NO OIL, and no fucking oil

in the box.
