Im not sure if this is allowed.?? For some time i have been unhappy with the position of the air filler for the rear air shocks on the Roadking, and glides. Especially on the roadking it is a pain to get to requiring removal of the panniers. I have come up with a kit to relocate the air filler nipple and also provide a gauge so you can see immediately how much air you have in the system to check your preload. The kit consists of

1 Y Piece, a fitting to air gauge to hose, 1m hose, a stainless steel bracket to relocate the nipple and mount the gauge plus some teflon tape to seal the join between fitting and the gauge.

email me if interested i can send you some pics and further details. I live in melbourne so parts can be posted OZ wide if required.

I had another solution to the problem. Get rid of the air shocks. Put a set of custom built YSS shocks on and have never looked back.

Besides the lousy ride I too was a bit sick of pumping up my shocks all the time. Now I can push it a little more and the other half still has a better ride!

    Boys,

They are a set of YSS Z 366TRL - 330 with YSS 46-25-35-200 spring. $1118.00 to my door.
With this spring, the preload is just on by a few turns. The 60 click damping is great and I notice a five click change. Also these have a 10mm hight adjustment which I needed because I lifted the front fork length by 30mm.

Walter is a very helpfull guy and he will admitt to not doing alot of RoadKings but got mine right for me. Mainly two up with me 100kg and the other half 55kg.

Narrow spacers may be need if you are using docking sissy bar.
