You cover your eyes with sun glasses to save your most precious vision. As you age that beautiful sharp imaged world becomes ,well sort of fuzzy. Anything to help give you a clearer view of what's ahead ,and around , is Great . Helmets with a visor are a total bonus and I now use a Nolan something or other, on the highway and below hiway speeds it's great to see the road with dry eyes and in focus. My bike is still very cool,I'm just not that cool anymore.(Isn't there something said somewhere about "wisdom comeswith age")

Ditto on our precious vision. I've had a few people comment on my full face helmet but I have to protect my eyes twice because I wear prescription glasses. My lady has just bought me a open face Nolan helmet with a visor and now I have the best of both worlds.

I use the Wylie ex with proper foam surrounds.

I've had two pairs, current ones are the "Jake" and they have been great.

My tip is spend the extra $$$ for a pair of TRANSITION ones like the Jakes, and it pays big dividends for those day rides that end up in the dark!

I've used the ugly fish ultimates for the last 5 years, I need prescription lenses and the ugfish have good inserts. I have 2 pairs set up, one day, one nighties. About to get the photochromic new ones, so I can just have one set (and a shit load of spare parts).

Cost is ~140 + cost of the prescription lenses. Still much cheaper than full prescription sunnies ($700 for Oakleys or Maui Jims).

I got the cost covered by health insurance so happy days...

Wylie X also offer outer lens in prescription but I stratch my outers and replace often, with foam inserts.

Guess you've had so many replies you're back to square one eh bloke?

I've tried a few different ones....always wear an open faced Shoei...Ugly Fish didn't fit the shape of my face so I gave my 2 pair to a mate that swears by them (but he is a very ugly man so I guess that was to be expected)..

I have used cheap "harley" padded ones from Ebay...and they were ok for about 100 KPH but the best I have found and have had them rated at 110 MPH on the Tucson to Pheonix motorway by myself are the ones I am still wearing 5 years later...Wiley X....hope that gives you some idea.......(oh...and riding with AZ locals is hard ridin and  HARD WORK)
