I have noticed that some people don't bother to remove them, and some people hate them with a passion.

I removed them on my Softail, but haven't bothered with the RKC. I left them on as I didn't want to give plod another excuse to pull out the yellow canary. But my question is this......Is it illegal to remove them, anyone know the answer?

Great info franky, As I under stand that side reflectors not required, And a rear one is, so I would assume the reflector built in to tail light is all that is needed.

If it is illegal to remove them then you should remove them, otherwise there is no point, other than they make your Harley look like a girls pushbike. There used to be a time when bikers didn't give a shit about anything but now they struggle with deciding if they should take reflectors off their bike ?? Whats the world comming to ??

Just got back from the local stealer, and had a look at the bike's in parking area, well MOST of them had reflectors still on. One bike had a fair bit of custom work, paint chrome etc, but still had all the reflectors on it, looked SHIT... I only started noticing them since this thread.........

I reckon if you leave the reflectors on your bike you should be forced by law to purchase those horrid fucking light things that you wrap around your engine that glow in the dark. Then, you should be forced to ride your bike around naked in winter until the novelty wears off or you die from the cold. I wanted to say hypothermia but i can't spell it.

If you ride past Bano's place at night it must light up like a Xmas tree with all the reflectors glued to his driveway fence posts.
