I'm guessing these aren't actually designed to save your arse from being cheese grated by the road in an off?

Yeah, I read that too. And since I usually get wet when I have a long ride ahead of me (I have my own personal cloud) that ain't no good....

Thanks for the heads up Ray. I've been looking for something just like this! Waterproof overpants etc are a pain in the butt to pull over boots, and do you or don't you pull over to struggle to get them on anyway...!!!  I just say "*!!  it and ride with wet jeans. These will make life a dream....

Just keep your tyres on the tarmac and the other issues are not applicable.

These jeans aren't too bad. I have heard from club mates who wear them that they are a good all round substitute for most conditions. Except Flooding rains

Draggin oil skins are the go, wore them on a recent trip to Melbourne and back, it hammered down on the last leg coming all the way into Sydney from Nowra and I stayed dry all the way. fantastic product, just dont put your gloves over the outside of your sleaves though caus they fill up with water! doh

I just purchased a pair from Greg Grants and they sure are nice and warm. Not had any rain as yet too try them out as far as staying dry goes.
