Hi all, i have a problem with my 99 superglide, the engine light wont turn off, i have replaced the battery and voltage regulator from a previous issue but the light still wont turn off. My speedo isnt working at the moment could this be the issue? if not any other help would be appreciated i have only purchased this bike a month ago and still ironing out the creases.

just checked the build date, it is a 5/99 model

not yet hog, because i brought the bike as is with a lot of mods on it, the person that done the mods cut a few corners by the look of it, I pulled the seat off last night to try to see the wires are going and alot of the wires have been cut, i will buy a workshop manual first to see what wires are cut and what they do, most likely the speedo wire isnt conected, if i still cant work out the issue, i might just drop it into the shop and let them sort the issue out. I will keep you informed of the outcome.
