Just a word of warning. I proceded to fit some front indcator relocators (from the bars down to the forks) and to do this you have to slide the fuel tank back slightly. Now I have a service manual and the instructions point you to the steps to remove the tank, etc. etc....
JUST MAKE SURE YOU DON'T MISS STEP ONE!
Stupid bastard me.... missed step one DISCONNECT THE BLUDDY FUEL LINE!
The new quick disconnect lines have a metal fitting at the tank and a stupid plastic fitting at the throttle body. I was amazed how little force caused the plastic quick disconnect fitting to snap its spigot off. i.e. the fitting remained connected to the steel pipe on the throttle body but the piece which fits into the rubber fuel line simply snapped off. I find it very strange that HD have put a metal quick disconnect on one end but a cheap plastic fitting on the other.
And you guessed it .... I can't just buy the fitting from my stealer... I have to buy the whole bluddy fuel line with the fittings on both ends.
Indicator stalks $75....
Labour, nuthin....
New fuel line another $75.....
