well its true................we were pulled over for a few wrongs and were told its no fine day by the copper...We thought he was joking..........but after reading this......holy shit batman........avoided about a grand worth of fines..............That was yesterday.............Oh happy day

Surely there should be a letter in the mail telling you it's been cancelled. Interesting to see how this would pan out in a court case.

some times people have to take responsibility for their actions,
you can go to the court house and arrange payments direct from the bank if you score a big fine.

as hilly13 said, on the spot fines don't make roads safer, I think just being pulled over is deterrent enough.
