Looking at the above pipes for my 07 heritage.  I have read a couple of places that they had issues with Chrome Work on the pipes in years gone by.  has anyone had any issues with them.  I like the design of the pipes but would appreciate some pro's and con's if there are any.  Also anyone advise on place to purchase them in AU.  I know what the price is in US dollars but they don't ship to Aust.

Any advice appreciated or are there better pipes out there with the same look.

    regards

I've got them on mine, gone blue real bad although not sure of the manufacturer. If your bike is low then don't get them as they will scrape.

i have ground pounders on my vrod, got mine from mcas, they have a website you can order them from, mine only went blue on one pipe from a baffle that was to restricting, the other one fell out, polished out though, hasnt come back since i fitted decent baffles, they are 16000 kms old now

I sell Ground Pounders , They are only Chrome Plated Finish and that is why they go Blue They also dont have a Baffle thats why they are loud and you will most likely have a Back Pressure problem with them because of not having Baffles.
Bassani Make a Ceramic Coated version with Baffles, They dont go Blue, have a great sound

Walka can you let me know what sort of price am I looking at,   Regarding the back pressure do the power cones solve that problem?  And can a set of baffles be fitted to them ?.  At this stage I wont probably get them till the new year.

You blokes have put me off these now. I will have to think about alternatives. The reason I was looking at those is that I have put on a set of swing arm covers and can't see the right hand side due to the S&S slip ons. The GP's and SW's don't come so far back along the lines of the bike. Back to the drawing board.
