I ditched the Dunlop for the Avon Cobra a few weeks ago. Scared the bejesus outa me the first corner I hit. Certainly feel the different profile. Am used to it now and have no complaints. Lets see how it wears. Will have to wait untin late November/December to check the wet weather grip

Sounds like the Cobra is the way to go. I am looking at tapping a screw and putting a bit if hard facing under the front pegs cause I am wearing them away, and thats on the dunlops. Do the Cobras make the scoot drop intot he corner more ?? Not that I have any trouble now.

 

Would that be the Avon 250/40VR-18 youse are talking about? I pissed meself laughing Sambo when ya told us how ya got ya tyre orf. I do have boning knives but I don't wanna fuck me tyre,might get sum $'s for it or a spare.
