Comon Laurie we wanna sneak peak at it, come on.
You know you wanna show it.

I reckon he is still trying to work out a snazzy new user name to suit the new bike.

    How about Ultraguy Laurie?????

    some say ,

that when you ride with the Wideguy, you will be riden hard and put away wet,

that the sound of thunder in the distance, coincides with the starting of his bike,

but we just know him as, THE INTERNATIONAL MAN OF MOISTURE !!!!!

    Hello all

No, haven't got a new bike or anything.

Just been away in the wilderness for a while. Only back for the weekend. May be a permanent move ...don't know yet.

Haven't had internet access where I've been - only through work and this site is "Restricted"! Got to log on with a mate's laptop for a few minutes the other day.

Dave, you must be stalking me! I don't get Optus mobile where I've been and just got a hundred messages when I switched my phone on. None from Lotto, though.

Thanks for the concern folks, but all is well, and it will rain again soon.

    Well Dave,

You don't know how close you are with that remark! I actually won a Suzuki SV1000 on eBay, but the seller did a dirty on me. Wsn't giving up the Widey though. Just needed a commuter.

The Hawaiian shirt nearly turned me though!

Well folks, off to the wilderness again this morning, not sure when I'll be back but will be up for a ride again when I return.

Good to meet up with everyone again yesterday - Both A and B teams!

Ride safe and see you all soon.

now, one would have thought that with all the pissing down rain over the xmas period that bloody Laurie would've stopped in and said gidday,  comeon mate  , we know you've been around , to bloody wet for you to have not been home

ANSWER ME DAMMIT !!!!!  WE KNOW YOUR OUT THERE

    I'm here.

At last due to technological advancement and some clever adaptation of mobile phone antenna technology, the purchase of a new laptop and a wireless broadband modem, I can overcome the constraints of work's blocked websites and unsuitable content.

I now can get access to the HDFA site, with blistering speed - amost as fast as dialup, but less reliable connection. More dropouts than Qld Uni.

Anyway, all is well. Thanks for all your concerns. I have taken up a permanent position out at Rolleston, so won't be seeing too many SEQ rides now unfortunately. I will have to try and catch up with you guys when you do overnighters to somewhere within range.

I have just bought a house at Zilzie near the beach. For those of you who don't know (all except Jilli ???) it's near Emu Park, ....which is near Yeppoon, ... which is near Rockhampton.   Might be able to catch up with the CQ guys for a ride sometime.

If any of you are up this way you are welcome to drop in on weekends when I'm at the beach. Can always find a spare bed.

Ride safe guys and I promise no more lurking.....

    Awww gee, thanks guys.

Trev - right at the bottom of your map is Reef Street and the little marker that you can just see right at the bottom is about spot on my place.

Just farking beautiful. Wake up to the sound of the surf....look out at the islands.....sitting on the deck watching the bay with an ice cold beer....priceless. Will post up some photos soon to make y'all jealous. It's my old stamping ground up here, so I've really just come back home (on weekends at least). It's a 4 hour trip from Rolleston, but worth it.
