Welcome Rastus from chilly Melb.
Gooday Rastus, yeah welcome to the site, it's a goodie. I'm from the whitsunday area and zip up to T/ville every now and then. Might bump into ya. Good onya for getting a Sporty, way to go. The sporty would have more world records in all forms of racing than any other model Harley.Check em out on the flat track racing, bar up watchin em. I tried to buy one new in '72 (showin me age there!) but couldn't afford it @ $2,495!!! So I ended up with a Z1 Kwacka, they were only $1,800 new, might've went fast but handled shithouse. Don't buy plastic At least a Harley wont melt when parked in the sun!!! I've got an '86 1100 Sporty basket case, trying to get me date into gear and sort her out, stock original, big project. The 1100 were only made in '86 and '87,bit of a rarey. Erik Buell designed the first Buell from that model,so I've been told, they come stock with Jerry Branch heads, cool eh. The other thought was to get her going into a race legal flat-tracker and have some fun in the ol farts class. Later Rastus
safe riding ratsus , welcome ,
