speedo/tacho combo

    Just got a HD speedo/tacho combo to replace the original speedo off my FXDC

    Just wondering if the HD gurus here, know of any install issues, tips and hints.

    yea they put one on the dyna they did up in heavy duty mag,they look cool man. ilike having a tacko too.

    No pickies as yet.
    Can't remember exactly what i paid, around $400 landed.

    Was it worth the $400 odd bucks you paid to have the tacho on the dash?

    got mine on the way as well, cant wait to have a tacho on the bike.

    have ordered one of these.  If my wife is good will have it this weekend (fathers day).

    Got my new speedo.  Love it.  Easy to intall.  All data straight onto it from ECU.  Could not be happier.

    Looks good!

    Dealer told me they had to install it or it would not work something about transferring milage etc. but if it is a home install job will have to grab one.

    It was an easy home install. Only thing is if your bike does NOT have ABS the dealer needs to update the ECM so the ABS warning lights don't stay on all the time.

    All mileage info is held in the ECM and was updated instantly on the speedo when it was first turned on.  EASY.

    I love this combo. Bling with functionality. This plus flush mount tanks will change things up nicely.
