After the wet weekend ride to no where my taillight on my bike was full of water and the wiring cavity full of sand and crap which I discovered Sunday Morning.
Thanks Karl for removing it and empting the sucker out. Seems the large volume of water (It did piss down) was able to push past the rubber /plastic globe housing.
If you take your light off the back you can see that the cavity that the wires come through is not sealed from the inside of the back guard, The foam gasket seals part of it but there are still a couple of spots that allow water and sand an shit through.
Rang the dealership (Thanks Dazza) who have lodged it with Warranty Support to investigate. No issue reported before this......... There maybe a recall as there did not seem to be a part missing when they looked at other FatBobs.
Will update for you when they have more.

Will not know anymore until early October when I take the bike back. I cant get it up there until then.
It appears from my research that 2 rubber gromets are misssing which allows the water to push past the wiring and hence into the light cover. This explains also the amount of sand and shit in the light housing when you take it off. to get the water out.
Will update when fixed.
