i have an fxdc 08 it has an exhaust valve

i have read people remove/disable these, is this adr emmission crap?

what effect does this have on power / torque and noise? i have a plain non valved pipe not fitted

i have screamin computer -----------if i fit this pipe will i need a re map?.

 

 

just a question on the cat converter , all aussie 09 tourers have it ? and where in the head pipe is it ? ive done the flapper screw trick and it goes a little better sounds a bit more grunty without being loud .

ta scotty ...i know its ilegal and all but will removing it improve flow markedly or dont bother ??

seems its to pass an adr rolling noise test at around 3000rpm it opens
not on us/jap models
just restricts exhaust flow at low speed / rpm
