Had a little bit of experience with bike turbo's, mostly  drag racing Jap stuff.

It can be done, but a lot of work to do a custom kit and keep your engine alive.

The turbo impeller size/design is important for a twin more than a 4.

Obviously you will throw your exhaust away and use a 2-1 header to feed the turbo, and a single dump pipe out.

    And some ideas here: www.rbracing-rsr.com/harleyturbos.htm

hi. maybe its not a good way to get more out of an EVFLH type heavy bike i have taken off about 4 natli turbo kits & given them back to the owners to sell off, 1 of the probs is oil presure feed.
turbos need high oil presure EV motors have low oil presure ,
also the scavange side of the pump is not powerfull enough to return the oil from the turbo & it banks up at the turbo's end & pushes oil thru the intake & exh side of the turbo . car turbo's are normaly mounted high with a 3/4" drain tube into the sump as to get the hot oil away asap, an old friend originaly sold the 1st kits to natli back then & they changed the design & made it worse,
they moved the turbo unit down at the front of the motor low & had the turbo oil return back thru the little suction hole in the lower cam chest engine breather cavity the breather gear hole was way to small for the job at hand ,
my old friend on his old streeter shovel fitted an out-side mounted sportie oil pump ,belt driven at much higher speed to feed & scavange the turbo's oil but outerwise its a lot of work but can be done a lot to think & work out other issues as well impella to wall clearance turbo lag etc , the turbo's the cheap part . you could do it if realy need to. but a H- DUTY crankcase at least . it always cost $$$ no matter how much more HP , anything with wheels & tits will end-up $$$. cheers

Hey FLAN, like they said, don't do it mate.

but i think easier to feed forced induction with EFI than a Carb, just a lot of trial & error.

the only Natali turbo i seen that went good was the one Manuel used to race at drags, it was a light bike too.

NOS works seen and know a guy that has an FXR 80 EVO with NOS and he has it flying! once he learns how to use all the HP he has there he will run times like a well tunned with good rider 124" S&S his speeds tell me he has lots of HP.

but i have seen many EVO's crack stock cases, and seen a few that broke the crank pin.

    cheers

hi , that natli bike was a chromemoly framed turbo charged + big bore kit with fuel injection on a rear 6" x 18" slick
with sissy bars ( wheelie bars) & i think only did 10.5 or 10.7 ET @ 123 to 125 MPH it should have been better ? i thought.
