I like the look, the tank lifts give the bike.

I have an 08 1200 custom. If I fitted a tank lift kit, will this affect the range I get from a tank? I think the fuel line pick up is near the middle of the tank but I am not sure, Does this mean that there wil be a litre or so more that will not be used?

I would have thought there would be a concern with the lift putting the speedo in the way of the bars......

BUT...on the other hand......I would go the 3" lift cos it has to make the bike go faster than a 2" lift......cos the fuel will go through the fuel line faster...

Your tanklift kit wont fit a Sportster Custom without relocating the speedo. I've tried.

Yeah I'm looking for a 1 inch tank lift myself, just so I can clean up and fit the wires from a tuck job I did under the tank. At the moment they are all taped under the top frame. At, I tried a 2" lift but I think it looks silly, anyone with a lead with a 1 inch lift would be great

Yeah that's who I got the 2" lift from aswell as my coil and ignition relocate, do they make a 1 inch or even a 1 and a half lift?

Haha you prolly are buddy, yeah I had a look, 1.5 is as low as they go. Debating whether or not to get one the 2 inch looked ridiculous, half an inch won't make much difference I'm thinking.

why don't you just remove the connectors and solder the wires so you wont have to use a tank lift?
