Has anyone had one of these snap on them..................Last night getting ready to leave work and the stand felt a little stiff and would'nt pull up , I give it a little kick

and the fucking spring is on the floor  and the stand is as loose as ever......Ring around today and speak to the dealers and they have never heard of it ever happing or if so very rare.......Now trying to get 1......Bloody thing

if the bike is under 2 years old get it replaced under warrenty

1 x 100cm length of galv wire ~1mm dia

10 x 200mm cable ties

Well, I didn't think it would happen to me.

I read this post a few weeks ago. Then this morning I was turning out of my garage where there's a dip. I've been over it lots of times, but this time I must have been going a bit slower, and the auto height adjustment (see separate post) hadn't kicked in, so the bike was much lower and the side-stand spring graunched on the concrete and flicked off.

So I'm sitting in the driveway with a sidestand out. I eventually found the spring, bent, about five metres away.

I'm glad I'd read thisd post because I don't know how I'd have got the spring back on otherwise.

I'm now buying a spare...
