rejected standard CV carby with aftermarket S&S teardrop aircleaner with 2 into 1 supertrapp muffler with 1 1/4 inch hole in back plate used 45 low jet and 180 main jet having trouble now with fuel spraying back into aircleaner and leaking down onto motor .dont know whats going on . has anyone got any ideas ?
if the bike has had a paint job done try jacking the bike so as to have fuel cock at lowest possie leave filler cap off & undo fuel cock bump 1 ltr fuel into container watch how much grit comes out then clean line out check to see if it has a 4 prong needle valve is better than the early type 3 prong type new needles arnt too dear to buy 22 bucks original, check fuel bowl level bowl should be 3/4 to 7/8 full bike in up right possie should clean fuel cock every year at least can pick up a lot of shit from servos as well needles can get a bit of dirt stuck under them.
