Redline Engine Oil

    Just a quick one any body tried the Redline engine 10w60 oil told the engine is quieter than the Mobil v-twin when it gets hot thought i might give it a go.Charlie

    Not in the engine, I run Royal Purple 20W50. But I do use Redline in the Tranny (Shockproof Heavy) and Primary (MTL).
    Be interested to hear how you go if you give it a try...

    Haven't tried redline in the engine but the redline heavy shockproof in the tranny has made gearchanging a lot smoother and the redline ATF type F in the primary is sweet too (albeit I adjusted the clutch as per Scotty's thread a while ago) and thats heaps better now .............................

    redline in the box and is similar to mobil 1 in the engine ,i use both and will continue to do so
