Gday,
I've just bought a new 09 dyna superglide and am looking to trick it up a bit and was hoping for a bit of help or advice.
Firstly, Does anyone know a reasonably priced store in the U.S. to buy a set of Vance&Hines Big Radius 2 into2 pipes and should I run the engine in before I fit them. They are $1200 in Aus.
Secondly,Same again but for seats. I'm looking at fitting a Lepera Daytona Sport Regal Plush seat . Hopefully should like good and feel comfortable.
Being a shortass I need to lower it so I've bought a 1 inch lowering kit and with a low profile seat I should be right. Has anyone used these lowering kits.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, As Retsurht said you'll need to do tuner and air filter, but you can get Hooker troublemaker pipes look very similar to the V&H You can get them from www.hdbitz.com.au for around $600 I think. As for the lowering kit, I'm not sure being a Dyna I thought you had to buy lower shocks, I've put 11inch lowered shocks on my wideglide, heaps lower but a lot stiffer and I have the badlander seat, I'm 5'5" and can now just touch flat footed.
vance and hines pipes will cause decreased horsepower , but if that doesnt worry you they do look good
Thanks everyone for the opinions and advice. I've bought the V&H pipes and am fitting a V&H Fuel pak tuner module.
As for the rest of the parts I sourced them on ebay and got great value for money.
Thanks again.
