Hi from Darwin we had a friend go down on the week end after his 95 road king got into a tank slap at 150ks yes i know he was speeding the tyres are good and mechanical good but is there a problem with the early kings i am told there is and harley could not find the problem,he has a broken shoulder, cracked ribs, punctured lung, and broken fingers, apart from that he is fine.The bike is a write off.

G'Day Charlie glad your mate is ok, sorry to hear about the road king . When i had my 95 road king i had a problem at 140-150 k

my problem was the front end felt like it was floating

with the 05 model no prob's at higher speeds

Yes we all do it but I would not put it in writing when he complains to HD , shit my dyna is

as stable as at 160+ , just dont go around a bend at those speeds.....
