The key on the "hand grenade" ignition,if accidently bumped into accessories, can fall out and the bike will keep going till you stop. Then you can't start her up again!!!  It happened to Sambo on his. He told me he pulled up and his key was gone, he'd somehow bumped the key into acc position,luckily he walked back up the road and found it, fucknose how far he walked. The key had skid marks on it cos it'd been run over. So, on my wocka I've got a cheapshit plastic (no weight)dog clip and string to the key, so when I start up I just clip the clip on to the plug lead.

I have thrown it in acc and it has popped out on the ground. I has to be ON to hold in.

With my softail I turn the ignition on and stick the key in my pocket. Doesn't that workon the Rockers?

from memory the Rocker is different.... don't think the switch is on the console !!!!!!

Thanks for the tip..........perhaps it makes sense to flick it back to acc and take them out..........It sounds like they will still run.
