    Hi guys....

Well finally picked up a nail, resulting in a flat last night. Lucky I got home before it went down. Suspect I may have picked it up at RPH where I was visiting my bro. I have used a plug in the tyre and looking at valve am guessing that HD use tubes in their tyres. Anyway it is holding so will at least get me to a tyre place during the week. I have done 10K and have about 25 - 30 percent tread left. May look at replacing tyre so am looking for input on tyre choice selection.

A mate who ride a Duc 1098 also picted up a nail Friday night... say it runs in 3's...

Yup nail is a 2", went straight in on the centre of the tyre. Have found a plug kit for the tyre and managed to have it hold pressure so heading to two wheel wreckers in the morning.

think I was lucky that it was only a slow leak. When I was getting a new tube fitted was told about a guy with a Ducati, picked up a bold in a brand new (20Km) tyre at freeway speeds. Destroyed the tyre and damaged the swingarm.... wanted warranty on the tyre

Think I may take a look at the Metz. I ride fairly hard and have around 25% tread left at 10K. Even had to bob at AHG. Had a ball.
