Sounds like a fantastic trip, you're pretty game riding those sort of distances. Sorry to hear that you came off but considering you're able to write and you kept riding the bike I'd imagine it could have been worse.

Now THAT's a ride! What a sense of freedom you must have had. The missus and I have talked about doing something like this, but the kids are not quite old enough yet. A couple more years. How long did it take you? You would have to have a fair bit of stuff I expect. What do you ride and any tips on what to take (or what not to), packing etc ...

I am envious! Any pics?

                      Had a mate over from perth last night who was passing through on his way to Tassie. We where talking about doing Tassie in March on the bike also.

I am considering a trip to Tassie for the Hotrod nationals at Easter.

Not sure if I am taking the Hotrod or the Harley yet but if the timing is right would love to tag along either way.
